How does a face shape detector work?

For a clear, front-facing, evenly lit photo, AI detection is highly consistent — it removes the human tendency to "see" the shape you expect. Accuracy drops when the face is turned, tilted, partly hidden by hair, or lit from one side. If two scans disagree, it's almost always a photo issue, not your face.

- Look straight into the camera at eye level, neutral expression.
